Electronics Information & Disclaimer

At Fleur D'Light, every lampshade is designed and handmade in my Hastings workshop. Where electrical components are supplied, they are carefully sourced from reputable lighting manufacturers and assembled by Fleur D'Light to create a complete lighting product.

Electrical Components

Electrical components are sourced from trusted suppliers including Creative Cables, a respected European lighting component manufacturer and supplier.

Where applicable, products may also be supplied with lamp bases manufactured by IKEA.

Depending on the product selected, supplied components may include:

  • Fabric-covered cable
  • Lamp holder
  • Plug
  • Inline switch (where applicable)
  • Ceiling rose and pendant fittings (for pendant lights)
  • Metal lamp base (selected table lamp models)

All supplied electrical components are assembled and tested prior to dispatch.

Voltage & Plug Information

Fleur D'Light lighting products are suitable for both 220-240V and 110-120V electrical systems.

Pendant sets and plug-in cable sets are supplied with the appropriate plug type for the destination country where available, including:

  • UK plug (Type G)
  • European plug (Type C)
  • US plug (Type A)

Some lamp bases supplied by third-party manufacturers, including IKEA, may be supplied with a UK plug regardless of destination country. Where this applies, a simple plug adapter may be required for use outside the UK.

Please ensure that the electrical system in your home is compatible with the supplied components before use.

Bulbs

Where bulbs are included, these are supplied for 220-240V regions only.

Due to sourcing limitations, 110-120V bulbs are not normally supplied with international orders. Customers in North America and other 110V regions may need to source a suitable bulb locally unless otherwise agreed prior to purchase.

All products are designed for use with LED bulbs only.

Please refer to the individual product listing for bulb specifications and maximum wattage recommendations.

Safety & Compliance

All electrical components are sourced from established suppliers and are intended for domestic indoor use.

Please inspect your product upon arrival and before installation. If any damage has occurred during transit, do not use the product and contact Fleur D'Light immediately.

Always follow the care and usage instructions supplied with your order.

Warranty & Support

If you experience any issues with your lamp or supplied electrical components, please contact Fleur D'Light directly.

I stand behind the products I make and will always do my best to resolve any problems and provide replacement parts where appropriate.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, accidental damage, use of incompatible bulbs, or normal wear and tear.

Care & Maintenance

For indoor use only.

  • Keep away from water and excessive moisture.
  • Do not cover the lamp while in use.
  • Use only suitable LED bulbs.
  • Disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
  • Clean using a soft, dry cloth.
