Processing & Dispatch Times

All lampshades are made to order, and production times typically range from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on order volume and availability. If you need your order urgently, please contact us at olly@fleurdlight.com, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

No surprise import charges wherever possible!

We want your Fleur D'Light order to arrive without any unexpected customs bills. That's why we prepay import duties and taxes wherever our shipping services allow.

Duties and taxes prepaid

For eligible orders to the following destinations, all applicable import duties and taxes are covered by Fleur D'Light, with nothing extra to pay upon delivery.

USA

Europe: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Prepaid shipping is subject to destination-specific restrictions and service availability. We'll confirm any exceptions before dispatch.

Other International Destinations

For countries where prepaid duties and taxes are not available, your order may be subject to local customs duties, import taxes or handling fees upon arrival.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are determined by the destination country's customs authorities.

Uk Orders:
Royal Mail Tracked & Signed

International Orders:
Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Shipping Costs & Estimated Delivery Times

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order. Estimated transit times are:

UK: 1-3 business days

Europe: 3-7 business days

USA & Canada: 5-10 business days

Rest of the World: 7-14 business days

These are estimates, and delivery times may vary due to customs processing or carrier delays.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please check your tracking details. If you need further assistance, contact us at olly@fleurdlight.com, and we’ll help resolve the issue.

Shipping Restrictions

PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO Boxes for international orders, as courier services require a physical address.

Collection 

If you live in the area or are visiting Hastings we also offer local pick up from our Studio - you can select this option at the checkout. We will notify you once the piece has been made and is ready for collection.  

The address to collect from is Fleur D'Light, The Lighthouse, The Yard, Waterworks Road, Hastings TN34 1RT.

 Our collection times are between 10-5   Monday-Friday and must be arranged beforehand.
